Rajini-Shankar film is also on

Just because Superstar Rajinikanth confirmed his next with director Ranjith, don't think that his proposed movie with Shankar has been shelved.

For, sources say that the Rajini-Shankar project is also on, but the 'thalaivar' will complete his film with Ranjith before that. "Because, the Shankar-directed project is a mega-budget one and it will take a little time for pre-production and other works," sources said.

Shooting for Ranjith film is expected to get a kickstart in August and it is expected to be a Pongal release. Kalaipuli S Thanu, who heads the Tamil Film Producers Council, is said to be the movie's producer.

Though the project is in its budding stage reliable sources confirm that an International production house is bankrolling the project,the budget for which is said to be close to 300 Crores.
