Karthi's upcoming film with Nagarjuna, to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is an official remake of the acclaimed French film, The Intouchables. But even though it's a remake, we've come to know that the director will be making a lot of changes in the script to make it more relevant to south Indian audiences.
A source reveals, "The shooting of the film will start in April. The team has been scouting for locations in the US and other countries, but they are yet to finalise specific locations. While Karthi will be essaying the role of a caretaker, Nagarjuna will portray the role of a quadriplegic patient. The director has been making changes to the original, adding elements that will appeal to the regional audience."The Intouchables is about the relationship between a quadriplegic patient and his caretaker.
