'Kalaipuli' S Thanu, the newly elected president of Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), promised on Sunday to address key issues faced by the industry.
"Our members have elected us with immense confidence. All the promises (made before elections) will be fulfilled. We will work hard for the benefit of the whole industry," Thanu said.
Earlier in the day, polling to elect new office-bearers of TFPC, one of the key bodies of Kollywood, was held at Kandaswamy Naidu College at Anna Nagar in Chennai.
