Director Bala has suspended the shoot of his upcoming film 'Thaarai Thappattai', after its protagonist M.Sasikumar sustained injuries while performing a stunt sequence.
Since it was a fiery fight, a medical team along with an ambulance was readyily deployed on the sets, near Thanjavur.
Sasikumar, while clashing with the villain gang, sustained injury on his left hand. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors spotted a fracture and advised him to be on rest for some days.
Following this, Bala suspended the shoot and the team has returned to Chennai.
