Unnikrishnan is a proud father!

Playback singer Unnikrishnan has won the prestigious National Award in his very first attempt with 'Kaadhalan' for ‘Ennavale’ song back in the early 90s. Now, his daughter, Uthra Unnikrishnan has repeated the same by winning the coveted award for ‘Saivam’. The song went viral even before the movie’s release, and many had predicted that the little girl will go places.   Na. Muthukumar has also won the best lyricist award for the same song, and it is just goes to show that Tamil cinema’s music is pretty much in the safe hands as we are known to produce some mind boggling numbers and create new trends within our boundaries.
